Governance

The Kingdom is governed through written authority, recorded status, defined office, and reviewable decision.

Order of authority

1. Applicable external law
2. Constitution of the Crown of Eve
3. Principal Laws of the Kingdom
4. Crown Acts and judgments
5. Ratified office charters
6. Delegations, regulations, standards, and procedures
7. Administrative practice consistent with higher authority

No lower instrument may contradict a higher one.

The Constitution

The Constitution establishes the Crown, the Court, the duties and limits of office, the rights of participants, the Registry, the handling of estates and domains, continuity, review, and amendment.

The current text is a draft for Crown review.

Principal Laws

Principal Laws govern recurring institutional subjects such as records, offices, privacy, petition, estates, finance, public identity, security, continuity, peace, and defense.

Crown Acts

Crown Acts apply authority to specific decisions. They may enact law, reserve domains, make appointments, establish offices, recognize estates, approve publication, issue judgments, or record other acts of the Crown.

Charters

A charter establishes the authority, duties, protections, and internal order of a particular office or institution. A charter remains subordinate to the Constitution and Principal Laws.

The Registry

The Registry preserves authoritative status, provenance, version, custody, amendment history, and public export records.

A public page is not authoritative merely because it is visible. Authority depends upon the recorded instrument and its verified status.
