The Registrar maintains the orderly identification, status, and record of Crown Acts. The Registrar should detect missing metadata, duplicate identifiers, false status, broken amendment chains, and unsupported claims of authority.

The Registrar's record does not replace the Crown's act, but it preserves the evidence and public status of that act.
